For several years, Eurotend has had the privilege of collaborating with Lucca Comics & Games, Lucca Comics & Gamesthe festival that transforms the city of Lucca into a fantasy world. Once again this year we have installed 31 marquees at 28 different sites,guaranteeing functionality and beauty in.

Marquees that tell the story of Lucca

We did not just erect marquees: we integrated our structures with the historical and architectural elements of the city, creating unique spaces. One example is the transformation of the Well in the bastion of Piazza Santa Maria into a refined room reserved for artists,inside the Star Comics marquee..

Another significant intervention was the one at the Statue of Maria Luisa of Bourbon:the statue became the centrepiece of the Piazza Napoleone marquee, enhancing it and integrating it into the festival set-up.

This advanced solution is designed to meet the logistical and aesthetic challenges of large-scale events, distinguished by its modularity, versatility and ability to adapt to complex and dynamic spaces.

The importance of the walls of Lucca

The city's famous walls are not just a backdrop; thanks to their unique configuration, the walls allowed us to organise the spaces in an optimal way in terms of both logistics and atmosphere. Creating a world of its own, where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the different themes of the festival, without ever losing contact with the charm of the historic city.

Carducci

With a length of 190 metres and a width of 50 metres, the Carducci Marquee, located on Viale Carducci, was one of the most impressive at the event, covering a total area of 9.500 square metres. Made of aluminium with PVC covering, it is a modular structure designed to adapt to different needs. The set-up of this marquee, including roofing, flooring and finishes such as doors and various details, took a total of 12-15 days.

Napoleone

With a length of 65 metri and a width of 50 metres, the Napoleone Marquee covers a total area of 3,250 square metresStrategically located, it incorporates the statue of Marie-Louise Bourbonharmoniously integrating it into the space. Thanks to its size and configuration, this marquee played a central role in the event.

Although we are involved in events of a different nature, Lucca Comics & Games remains a special project for usallowing us to bring our experience into play in the creation of functional and evocative spaces capable of making each edition even more unique.
