Eurotend brought a major innovation to the Venice Film Festival, revolutionising temporary structures with its Revolution marquee, designed to combine functionality, aesthetics and versatility.
Eurotend played a key role in the evolution of temporary structures for the Venice Film Festival, introducing an innovative contribution with its Revolution marquee.
This advanced solution is designed to meet the logistical and aesthetic challenges of large-scale events, distinguished by its modularity, versatility and ability to adapt to complex and dynamic spaces.
Composed of 5×5 metre modules, the Revolution allows for the creation of large, customisable and easily configurable environments based on the specific needs of each event, thus offering an ideal solution for spaces that require a high degree of flexibility.
One of the Revolution's distinctive features is the possibility of varying its height, which can reach up to 11 metres, an aspect that represented a true innovation for the Venice Film Festival.
Previously, in fact, temporary structures were not able to meet the needs of large-scale cinema projections, but thanks to this greater height it was possible to create environments more suitable for hosting large screens, significantly improving the visual experience for the audience and allowing for the holding of events of international standing.
Revolution flexibility is not only limited to its height. Its design allows it to be set up with a clear span of 40 metres, offering large, unobstructed spaces. This feature was crucial for the construction of the vast areas needed for the Festival, where the ability to adapt to different space requirements, both in terms of area and functionality, is crucial.
The roofing sheets were enhanced with an innovative ‘hailproof’ system. This additional layer not only effectively protects the structure from hail impacts, but also acts as an acoustic barrier, significantly reducing the noise caused by heavy rain. A solution that further enhances the usability of the space, regardless of weather conditions.
Eurotend paid special attention to the safety and stability of its structures. The flooring of the Revolution tents was designed to withstand loads well above the norm, tripling the required load capacity compared to usual standards.
This ensured optimal safety, even in the presence of heavy equipment such as cinema screens and grandstands, offering the audience a comfortable and risk-free experience.
In conclusion, Eurotend's Revolution marquee proved to be the ideal solution for the Venice Film Festival. Thanks to its modularity, adaptability and high safety standards, Eurotend contributed significantly to the creation of functional and elegant environments, fully meeting the requirements of one of the most prestigious and visible film events in the world.
