Is there a difference between an marquee and a tensile structure?

Even though these two expressions are considered as synonyms, they have different meanings.
A tensile structure is a covering facility made from fabric tarpaulins and other light materials, which are supported and maintained by means of tensed bearing items such as antenna cables, arches, etc..
An marquee is a modular construction, typically used in temporary or durable installations. It is usually made from a standalone metal bearing structure (aluminium, steel, etc.) which is covered and provided with side walls generally made from PVC coatings.
This tarpaulin is prevailingly a finishing item and is thus not vital to the stability of the structure.
