Installation of the Champions Village at of the Champions League Final Rome, Stadio dei Marmi - 27 May 2009

Eurotend was commissioned the installation of 8,000 square meters of marquees to host the numerous guests of the official sponsors before and after the match. The Champions Village was set up at Foro Italico inside the suggestive Stadio dei Marmi. The installation of covering structures for large areas is not a difficult task for Eurotend, though in this case the customer also asked that the lawn grass and the tartan athletics track be preserved form any damages. The problem was solved by laying out multilayer panels on the entire surface of the stadium in order to preserve the field.
The structures, having a side height of 4 meters, were made of anodized aluminium, and were anchored to the ground by means of ballasts, and provided with entrance doors and with wooden flooring mounted on a hot galvanized steel truss frame. The sidewalls were made of Crystal PVC, and the roofs of opaque PVC.
On the occasion of such a big event as the Champions League Final, the attention for details is of fundamental importance. Eurotend chose therefore to raise the floor in order to hide the anchoring ballasts and make them invisible for the event guests.
The creation of this structure confirms once again Eurotend’s competence and expertise in handling international events.
