In order to host the event for the signature of the European Constitution, which was held in Rome on 29 October 2004, Eurotend temporary structures were chosen. These hosted 1200 reporters coming from al lover the world.
5 tents were installed in the Bocca della Verità area (each measuring 20x20, 20x20, 20x25, 20x40 and 20x55 m) covering about 3,200 square metres for reporters and media.
Ground sloping in this area was a main issue for Eurotend experts. A two-meter inclination was to be found from side to side in this area.
Tent pillars were adjusted to several height; floors were installed on a tubular grid.
In addition to flooring, Eurotend also provided air-conditioning systems, false ceilings, and lighting systems. Structures were installed with strengthened profiles and coated with external wooden and aluminium panels.
Thanks to the presence of false ceiling, a diffused lighting effect was achieved which gave the environment a warm, cosy appearance. An extremely careful preparation which made our guest forget the fact that they were staying in a tent.
